You downgraded your PS3?

How did you downgrade your PS3? What flasher?

What firmware was it on before you downgraded?

You tried to downgrade, but used Kmeaw instead of Rogero v3.7?

What is the minimum firmware your PS3 can be downgraded too?

You soldered a wire from tristate to ground and it stayed on. Now it doesn't stay on. Resolder the wire.

Answer all these questions or I can not help you.

i also stated your mistake of using kmeaw

u can downgrade with the latest 4.30cfw v2.03 too
there is no need to go to 3.55 at all

off topic but a quick question.
if you downgraded direct to 4.30cfw how do you de-hash?
or as i assume you just stick with rogero's cfw's as his are patched and dont de-hash.

no need for dehashing as its 4.30

if u have sbe still soldered then reflash ur patched dump
then enter fsm
install 4.30 v2.03 or if u want 3.55 then use v3.7
then exit fsm
then recovery console reinstall the cfw

Yes, I believe that is what the problem is too. But when you get a kid thinking he broke his PS3, he starts running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

To downgrade directly to 4.30 CFW you need to apply different patches to the flash. Then install it from recovery. Because you can not exit FSM on 4.30. So don't confuse the kid more. LOL.

To fix your brick, follow the guide below but start at Chapter 2. When you get to the step where you see the connect controller screen, you will need to remove the wire you soldered. You will not see the screen until you remove the wire.
Then continue with the downgrade with files from the step 1 folder. The link for the files you need are in the spoiler "Things you will need"
