it is always best to install cfw thru
recovery console and xmb
so if u downgrade with the 4.30 v2.03 pup
after fsm exit
boot console and reinstall the 4.30cfw thru xmb
then reboot console into recovery console and reinstall again (option 6)

this is wrong mate
u can downgrade straight to 4.30 v2.03 then after the install thru fsm u can exit fsm
it all works and tested by me and rogero before he released it


oh and for the record u dont need any diferant patches
use the patches thats always been used for downgrading
the other patches are for the consoles with metldr 2f 5b

You go to rogero 3.7 to do the business but if your happy on 2.03 your a ok

there is no need for 3.7 unless u want to be on 3.55

u can downgrade to 4.30cfw v2.03 because it has all the same patches as the v3.7 has

Yes you can downgrade onto 2.03 But you cannot dehash on 2.03 to install next cfw if it hasn't got lv1 patch disabled

LOL. @dooma To fix your brick, follow the guide below but start at Chapter 2. When you get to the step where you see the connect controller screen, you will need to remove the wire you soldered. You will not see the screen until you remove the wire. Then continue with the downgrade with files from the step 1 folder. The link for the files you need are in the spoiler "Things you will need" Good luck.

Patcher doesn't work on my PC I drag dropped bkpps3.bin file into program and nothing happens...

I don't like the idea of going straight to rogero cfw 4.30 v2.03 from ofw 4.31

It might be quicker but think I'll stay with the old way, rogero 3.7 - dehash - ofw 3.55x2 then rogero 4.30
