Now you're the one putting everyone in the same boat. Believe it or not, I haven't dumped any online games on MM nor have I pirated any. My main use of the system is showtime with the navi plugin = anything you could ever need as far as multimedia goes.

People claim they never played online games using MM. You don't need to be in a lobby, juist using mm and loading a game online through psn is enough. Most games don't have multiplayer, but have online functionality, top scores, dlc and the list goes on.

Another dude claimed he never went online using mm but he did want to test an online pass crack to see if it works. Don't you need to be online to test it?

Others have gone months on psn and still not heard of a ban. Is it luck? Or are the people getting banned don't remember what they did / not telling us the whole story?

I think you can play on psn with minimal risk:

Don't use mm when already online because friends can see multiman under ur name like a game and $ony to.

Don't use dlc and psn games installed from hdd(pkg) and go online.

Stay away from the store.

Stay away from blops2.

Use stealth mm for sure.

Don't boost ur points because $ony will investigate u.

Just keep ur head low on psn.

I am going online regulary on MM for update and game update but i never signed in PSN on my CFW i am still at the Sign Up process. When i start a game i turn off Internet connection which probably doesn't change anything since if i start a game with internet enabled it ask me i need to sign in PSN to access Online content such as score, multi ect..

I am not a pro when it comes to online on CFW but with what i read on forums is that you may have less chance to get banned if you;

1-Disable the Net before running Multiman, when running homebrew( Having none on XMB is even better, Showtime included) and when turning off PS3. Only enable Internet when you have loaded your game with MM already or if your using legit disc.

2-Don't install ilegal DLC's on your Online Account including online pass buy them if you want to play online but it may be risky as you can lose everything if you get banned. Have an offline account for solo game to use the DLC you have installed which you did not buy.

3-Don't play game like COD or MW and try no to play online with Sony entertainment game.

4-Don't Mod game, save or cheat in game with your online account, don't hack trophy and don't be an ass with people on the net.

All this is speculation and we have no proof that it could help you or not but im pretty sure you have a bit less chance to draw attention from sony.

The other factor no one really considers is don't trash talk or use the report function.

Let's say someone is being an ass and you report, you're also directing Sony's attention to you. When on OFW, you can get away with pissing ppl off or reporting people, when you're on cfw...keep quiet and lay low.

or hosted BO2 / MW3 mods

Even if it works has flaws on it.
If you were banned was for a reason, i rest my case on that situation.

So tempted to play Black OPs 2 multiplayer right now. I ain't gonna cheat or nothing. Plus I seen people say they played for awhile without cheats and they behaved and they still haven't got banned. Oh man I'm about to take the risk.
