but when it get's to the bit about configuring the "package.conf"

it doesn't show or tell me how to do it..

like what do i change hare?

and where do u get this "K-licensee" thing from?

and were it say "Content-ID = EP0001-MRTC00003_00-0000111122223333" how would i change the Blues or Bless code? or what would i put in there?

and what are the diffrent types for "Content_Type" and "PackageType"?

does this bit matter for 4.21 resigning? "PackageVersion"

i am trying to resign the "Final Fantasy 13.pkg" 2 4.21

the Bles or Blus code 4 it is: MRTC00003

but i don't know it's K_licensee

or what type of PackageType or Content_Type is?

all i know it is a game mod that when you have the Final Fantasy 13 Disk in the Blue-Ray Drive and you Run the Mod from XMB menu it launches it's Eboot file not the original one.

so what would be the: PackageType or Content_Type?

Please help me since this is my 1st time. and i want to become good at resigning homebrew.

Why not extract the EBOOT from the .pkg & use:
Dark Eboot Fixer v3: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5gcr3txocqfxkc8 to fix/resign to 4.xx then, install the .pkg and replace the old EBOOT with the resigned one.

so u don't have to do the resign thing completely? i could just install any 3.55 pkg file onto 4.21 REBUG Rex? and just replace the EBOOT.BIN file? with resigned one?

well with dark eboot fixer i should be able to get it all working it has the tools needed to find the K_licensee thing and a few others.

Just make sure to have the EBOOT in the same folder as Dark Eboot Fixer and .selfs in a USDIR folder like it is in the pkg.

i noticed i can package it with the EBOOT.ELF and with out it just with EBOOT.BIN by it's self does it matter if it has the ELF file or not?
