hi! just got a 3.56 min factory ps3 that some other guy tryed to downgrade and know is brick. the idea is that i might not get the original dump file, and if i made a backup it will be patched (that is what causing the brick). so from the patched bkpps3 can i get the original one in order to patch it with 3 musketieers patch?

P.S i dont know if the dump was verified before it was flashed.

hmm interisting story .. first verify the dump u have and see if there's sum errors or smthn .. and from what i think .. these patches is easy
patch1 : OFFSET 0C0010 LEGHT 6FFFE0
patch2 : OFFSET 7C0010 LEGHT 6FFFE0
patch3 : OFFSET 80000 LEGHT 20000
patch4 : OFFSET A0000 LEGHT 20000
patch5 : OFFSET 40000 LEGHT 20000
patch6 : OFFSET 60000 leght 20000
we just have to get and a 3.56 dump not modded or anything and try to fill those offsets with the original data .. cuz these patches gets us to the FSM mode .. and so first verify the dump u have

first things first.
make a dump and see how much can be verified.
the problem will be if you get a bad dump as you then need to adjust the clip (if its clipped)
or re-wire and then re-dump untill you get the best dump you can get.

you will also need to solder tristate to gnd so you the ps3 will halt and not shut off.

hopefully you will get a good dump

Those patches won't work. This is why it is bricked to begin with. If he gets a valid dump, it will already be patched this way.

As soon as you flash those patches on a 3.56+ min. praxis, it bricks flashing red light and powers off.

CECH-25xx (JTP-001) with 3.56 from factory - datecode 1A (rare)
CECH-25xx (JSD-001) with 3.56 from factory - datecode 1B (common)
CECH-25xx (JTP-001) with 3.56 from factory - datecode 1B (common) 	E9 60 	0E 92 	2F5F0 	2F 5B 	2F 5B 	(RLOD+)poweroff @ downgrade 355
(3.56+ + spkg fix + signed 3.55 priv : should work)

You would need to patch it with this method here.

That is why you would need to patch these:

patch1 : OFFSET 0C0010 LEGHT 6FFFE0

patch3 : OFFSET 80000 LEGHT 20000

i read it as the console was on 3.56 and it was then bricked during downgrade.

i see now it is a MIN firmware 3.56

my advice about the patch is wrong i will remove it asap to stop anyone doing what i said.

i havent had to do the above that you and @digiprog have mentioned to any bricked consoles before so it wasnt in my mind as a fix

yesterday installed directly rogero v2.03 succesfully on another 3.56 minimum factory.
let stay on the topic.
im afraid i cant do none of this because the ps3 was in bad shape. the fan plug was pulled off with some mobo layer and i was unable to solder it again.

NO ! u can resolder the fan wires .. hmm i don't know how to explain this .. but the fan plug layer look under "other side" it there's the same three point u can solder the points to.. hope this helps .. tc
