can you fix my rsod also? so what it does is when you start the ps3, it brings a rsod up. i tried reformatting my hard drive i guess it didnt do anything, so i send u the ps3 + $50 you think you can fix it and downgrade to 3.55?

Yes, I can downgrade it and fix the RSOD. But I can't guarantee the RSOD won't come back.

note: My ps3 can downgrade to 3.40. I was just about ready just can't find an E3 flash downgrader(hate being in USA at times) unless you know where to get one I think your my only hope

And with CFW can i log onto PSN and play with my friends ? ive been looking around and alot of ppl are saying they there is no PSN when on a CFW but ive seen on youtube ppl play online on MW2 with challenge lobby's and ive been in one myself back when the game was still fresh please explain because i dont want any CFW if i cant host my own challenge lobby's with my friends and others online

I was wondering if you can downgrade it im not sure too which one im a complete noob when it comes to this lol but my main goal is too just host challenge lobby's on COD games like MW2 that's the reason i would like too downgrade i saw the rogero 4.30 JB if that is a good one for what i would like too do please tell me if you could do that for me lol also i have no idea if my PS3 is downgradeable o.o

Most likely yes. But use MinVerChk PUP file to check.

Rename the file to PS3UPDAT.PUP and put it in a folder named UPDATE. Put that folder in a folder named PS3. Then put the PS3 folder on a fat32 formatted USB drive.
Put it in your PS3 and navigate to System Update. Choose update from storage media.
Don't worry it won't update. It will give you an error and tell you what the minimum firmware your PS3 can go.

After you downgrade my ps3, can i still play online? Can my ps3 get detected by sony and got permanently banned?

You can't get banned for using MinVerChk. You don't even need to be connected to the internet to use it.

You can get banned for playing on PSN with CFW. Look here.

But you can unban your console with this, if you do.
