Firstly you need a flasher, or have someone flash it for you. Read the tutorials and see if its something you are able to do yourself, or post your location and someone may be able to flash it .

A simple glance in the tutorial section or looking at the stickies in this very section, would have given you ALL the answers you needed. You can still search Google an download using you PS3's web browser, no need to use that as an excuse for laziness..... |

you need to downgrade to 3.55cfw or go direct to 4.30cfw both ways need a flasher to extract your nand verify you have a good dump then patch it and flash it back to the nands. then you can go to either 3.55cfw or 4.30cfw via factory service mode (fsm) via a dongle (dev board) but as you have a nand console you need a progskeet. and that is controlled via a pc. you only need win xp on the pc or linux (i havent seen any guides for the linux version though) so a xp pc shouldnt cost too much even a xp laptop should be dirt cheep. so if you can get 1 or borrow one then you can downgrade your ps3. once downgraded you can then goto the thread you quoted and follow that for what you can do with a 3.55 console. i hope that answers your questions. ps welcome to ps3hax. |
