Just need to know how I go about downgrading to 3.55 so I can run custom firmware, so I can play backups and install homebrew.
I am a noob so I know nothing

How about clicking on the guides in the section you posted in? Cmon really, the first sticky thread has all the info you need.

We have tutorials here on how to downgrade and which hardware flasher to use. The hardware flasher will be needed to be soldered on the motherboard and a new flasher will cost you close to $100. If you don't want to spend that amount and risk bricking or hardware damage to the motherboard. I suggest looking for a downgrade service. We have people here that offer that service.
