Factory fw 3.60 currently 4.31 can install any cfw?

Your date code is your manufacturing date. For example: 1C = July, August, September 2011.
1=2011
C=3rd quarter of the year

So check the manufacturing date on the black sticker, on the bottom of the PS3. Then look at this chart.
If you find your PS3 on that chart, and in the far right column it says metldr 2. Then this will not work for you.

Are you sure min. version check said 3.56?

Because datecode 1c has metldr 2 and min. version is 3.60.

If you look at the chart any datecode higher than 1B is metldr 2.

its 1b my data code ps3 cech 2504a and factory fw is 3.60 can i install?

as long as you are on 4.31 you cant do nothing. (i believe). e3cfw and rogero 2.03 are made with 4.3ofw files so even if you patch your bkpps3 you cant install it (in theory). as this threads says: if you are on 4.3ofw or below

I have a fat ps3 running 4.30 OFW now. It's model CECHP-01 factory firmware was under 3.55. 2.50 to be exact. Can I use e3 flasher on it to downgrade to 3.55 CFW?
