Remove the links to your dump from your posts.

Don't use that patched bin I gave you.

The 3.55 ros folder looks fine on your dump. The 3.56 ros folder has 26 files, instead of 25.

When I patched it, it didn't patch correctly.

Edit - Also when I search for SCE in the dump, the last SCE should be SCEIyyyy. But your dump has another SCE after that.

more edit - When I patch it with Nor dump patcher, it should says it is e3 flasher style. And it doesn't.

and another edit - Sorry for all the edits, but I was checking the dump, and tried patching it again, while posting. But my conclusion is the dump is NOT VALID. DO NOT FLASH.

Try and make some more dumps.

I will continue this tommorow, you have my dump file and you can check it and patch it. I removed wire and turned on PS3 it turns off after 2 sec without beeps or red light. Send me to PP, thanks for help.

select "byte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump File"
select the desired bkps3.bin , and then execute operation
the Dump extraction should've been done without any errors, otherwise it may lead you to a permanent brick.
after extracting you should have the following output: bkps3.swap.bin and bkps3.swap.ext

if you take the first dump (that you sent to playerkp420 in this thread) and the dump you made after that was patched and flashed back.
dont byte reverse them.
open them both in hxd
go to statistics then compaire
compaire both
keep pressing f6 untill you get to offset 40010
you should get CS.E on both but you get SCE on the new dump

you will see the same thing at offset:
A0010

at offset C0010
the ROS0 the whole lot of this is byte revesed in the new dump but the correct way round in the origional

this new dump is half byte reversed

@playerkp420 can you comfirm
also you mention an additional SCE headder in the dump
i have gon over the origional all day but i fail to find it (even searching for the txt string) can you give me the offset please.

and i dont suppose you have a dump from a 3.56 console do you?
i have been putting together a list of what each firmware (based on the sdk_version in both ROS0 + ROS1 folders in NOR dumps) but i havent had a 3.56 one yet (apart from this)

i should mention there is alot more byte reversed sections in the new dump but i have just mentioned a small amount as just this is enough for the ps3 to not boot

i am just uploading the dump you sent me.

DO NOT BYTE REVERSE IT
just put it on exacly how you get it.

i want you to flash it back to the ps3 twice.
then remove it from your sd card (but put it safe)
then make a new dump and upload me that.

also are you 100% sure the dump you sent me was the same you sent player in this thread?
