@sashapv19 strange you should mention that. I have reverse Engineered both the InJeCtuS JTAG programmer board (that comes with ProgSkeet v1.2) and the InJeCtuS programmer.

My extensive and always frustrating path to getting a my flash chips to be dumped and programmed started off with getting hold of an InJeCtuS programmer from eBay. Did it work? Did it hell. So in my attempts to get it working I started my 'quest' by reverse engineering it.

Then I ordered a ProgSkeet v1.2 which was a month late and lo & behold that did not bl00dy work for me either.

NOW I have something which actually WORKs for me. I am not one for giving up easily on things TBH. In reverse engineering both the ProgSkeet v1.0, the ProgSkeet v1.1 and the ProgSkeet v1.2, the realization soon dawned that they are basically the same design, i.e. all based on a common FPGA, the Actel ProASIC 3.

^ Hijack alert!

Joking aside, for me to do QSB I will need a DIMENSIONAL drawing of the pads on the PS3 motherboard. Probably quite a few drawings too, based on all the variations of the PS3 motherboard out there thus resulting in many QSB PCB designs? Unless someone can tell me that the position of the pads on the PS3 are standard across all variations of motherboard.

I do not have any NOR based PS3s - if I did I would do a drawing in AutoCAD which can then be imported directly into Altium (the PCB design package I use).

Will want to start another thread for QSB board design(s). Stop things getting confussled. See here: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=48967

^ post your question in the relevant thread please (or things will get messy).

Andy

PS

For the record pictures will NOT do! ACCURATE dimensions are required, otherwise this will be a major f-up.
