For EBOOT.BIN to ELF you can use naehrwert's scetool or fail0verflow's unself.
Some NPDRM games may require a RAP or RIF+act.dat+idps to extract the ELF

Also my PS3 Tools Collection 2.0.55 allows to convert/resign the eboot using:
Shift+Enter on the EBOOT.BIN extracts the EBOOT.ELF
Ctrl+Enter on the EBOOT.ELF signs it as a SELF (EBOOT.BIN)
Or right-click and select "Sign ELF".

I am aware that your PS3 Tools Collection contains tools to decrypt/encrypt EBOOT.BIN.

I think it will be great if your could include only the selected tool with PS3 Cheats Editor. It be much easier and user friendly.

@gingerbread I don't have the intention to reinvent the wheel.

I don't see where is the difficulty on press Shift+Enter to extract the ELF, drag & drop it on the PS3 Cheats Editor, apply the patches, and right-click Sign ELF on the EBOOT.ELF

It is not difficult at all. Your PS3 tools collection is great. I believe it could be more streamlined. But It is just one man's opinion. Well, never-mind.

http://aldostools.org/temp/PS3_Cheat..._installer.rar

Changes:
- New tooltip with preview of cheats codes
- Added option to patch an EBOOT.ELF with the selected cheat codes
(so now you can use the cheats on 3.xx and 4.xx without having to launch CodeUnique)

IMPORTANT:
The EBOOT.ELF must be the same version of the version of the codes.
Newer versions of EBOOT may have different offsets.

Thanks to BahumatLord @ PS3Repack for the tips/idea and bungholio @ CMP for the tutorial about converting CU codes.
please could you consider to add a feature that lets you convert raw codes automatically to ps3usercheats format? also a feature to get a eboot that has cheats already embedded into the eboot decrypt and auto convert to ps3usercheat format, that would be a godsend for older games that don't have cheat codes in ps3usercheat format or games that only have modified eboots and no ps3usercheats codes, it would help me out a lot and make thing easier for the community at least.

i also like the idea of merging the ps3usercheats app into multiman, that is a great idea.

Aldos, I'm on a Mac using Crossover/Wine, so I could not see that shift+Enter shortcut working with PS3_Tools Menu GUI. Unless I missunderstand the how to instructions to decrypt/resign an eboot.bin with PS3_Tools Menu??

Version 2.4.1 now includes naehrwert's scetool + MAGiC333X's bruteforceklicensee + klics.txt + appldr keys (all keys up to 4.31)

-it now allows to open EBOOT.BIN (it will auto-extract the ELF)
-it also allows to save the patched ELF as EBOOT.BIN

Report if you find any bug...

How to add the cheat codes to an EBOOT...
1. Download, install & run PS3 Cheats Editor 2.4.1
2. Select a game from the database
3. Select the cheats that you want to apply (use Ctrl+click to select multiple cheats)
4. Press Ctrl+E to select the EBOOT.BIN of the game to be patched (make sure that it is the same version)
5. Press Ctrl+P to apply the selected cheats
6. Press Ctrl+J to save the patched EBOOT.ELF as EBOOT.BIN
7. Copy the EBOOT.BIN to the USRDIR folder (if it is a retail eboot) or make a PKG if it is a PSN game or update EBOOT

Options for 4, 5 & 6 are available in the context menu found at the bottom-right of the window (hover the mouse over the Patch ELF button)
