well all I know is as long as sony is making PS3's there will always be IDs , and the more IDs that get banned, pretty soon sony is guna have alllllll there OFW users calling getting pissed. Sony may unlock the legit ones but then they will be locked again.

Its a endless cycle between the two sides, honestly I think they will cave and just say Fu ck it and unban everything before this side ever does. honestly they should be focused on banning modders and cheaters not CFW users in genral. Alot of cfw owners I talk to actually legit buy stuff games disc, psn titles, dlc, etc just like me

I agree 100% with ya man dont get me wrong, I am only here testing this out cause I have a banned console and account.

I could care less about PSN its not all that important to me especially with alternate methods to what it offers anyways.

I was only curious if this worked and it did and now if this gets blocked I will still not care about hurrying back up to get access to PSN. Lived without it for 2yrs and I can do that again ^_^

yeah it sux that OFW are getting screwed cause of this, but at the same time its making sony either step up or say ohh screw it lets just go after the cheaters and modders that are doing illegal stuff in MP ( kinda like microsoft and nintendo do )

precisely.... While I'm all for getting back online I think the means required is really terrible for everyone. since we can only use legit IDs we have to get them from someones console and when we get banned again there goes that someones console too.

So frankly I advise anyone who was banned and wants back on buy a new console. don't **** someone else over.

There is a way to patch this though, i've done it myself.. not sure if Sony can do it via network only though.

And they can definitely patch the sniffing method for OFW, (Leaving only bruteforce but i'll never release it for obvious reasons.. don't wanna incur sony's wrath anymore than I am...)

Ive signed on a total of 1 time since I used this app, all I did was tested it to see if it works and it did. Until there is a more effective and safe all around for everyone OFW and CFW, I wont be using this anymore anytime soon, unless I wanna purchase DLC real quick. Thats the only reason I would ever use this again.

I would never take this online MP and risk someone elses console ID thats not in me to do that.

I know even if I only use this method to buy DLC im still putting someone at risk, but the lighter side is Im buying stuff not just YAY i can bops 2 a piece of **** game online again ya know

Nintendo and Microsoft (especially MS) knows how to apply in a bad way banhammer method or banwave.
Hence many *innocents* went K.I.A for COD.

Same is happening here, appeared this damn Call of duty black rope 2 and the bans started to appear out of the blue.

Funny tought when you *flash* an xbox360 (i won't enter into further details) the game that you can't play most of the times is COD.

So at this rate anyone know that COD is a simple catalyst plus some wierd and ****ed big bang of cheaters (not all of them but most of them).

When was the last time that you heard/read or that someone got banned console banned or PSN banned BEFORE Call of duty black rope 2 release?.
(3 or 4 isolated situations).

Just make some calculations here and there and you will realize that indeed even if unbanning yourself you are not ****ing with Sony.

You are alredy on the *game* @0x00 pushing a little more what could happen?.
You talk about sniffing and bruteforce, a piece of advice if you have something don't tell anyone that you have it or you will cause the user's wrath not sony's.

Sony dosen't own anything but the network. Oh and the software we purchase licenses to. to be honest they don't have any legal obligation to let us play games at all. If sony could they would ban us from playing there software on there our consoles and they would be well within there right to do so.....

And who uses the network?, if so many want to unban themselves...who has the upper hand? we?..i doubt it.
While Microsoft let Xbox360 owners install their purchased games into their internal HDD, we have no *right* to do a simple backup of our purchased game and install it on our HDD'S.

Question still is..Who OWNS who?.
