Stupid question...

I have an RGH Xbox with dual nand, to prevent my "OFW" side from getting banned my CFW side has a fake console keyvault that was originally taken from a banned Xbox 360 and a random MAC address so that if it does try to phone home by accident it just gets booted but never sends my real console ID.

Can we do similar on the PS3? I saw chaos that changes the MAC address but is that all that needs changing it seems that it wouldn't be enough to me, can we not do similar and get the equivalent of the PS3 consoles "keyvault" from a banned console and load that to protect our original console ID in case you decide to go back to OFW.

Anybody know?

Much has happened in the PS3 scene in the last few months, but we are still miles behind the xbox scene IMO. I think at this time what you are requesting is not currently possible, but who knows, 12-12-12 was supposed to be the release of the xkey and that was touted as being the next big thing with one of its primary purposes of being undetectable by Sony.

Well on COD *level* we are in the same boat.
They get banned mostly for COD and that ****ing prestige ****, us because they found a way to spot CFW'S and COD Black rope 2 was the perfect alibi.

On *Scene level* we are light years behind but you know that old *saying* = *When a civilization (community in this case) grows so fast they have higher chances to get *erased* by their own knowledge ergo what they know, learned, etc it's their own downfall*.
PS3 scene has a slow pace...
