DIA001 wiring diagram for e3 linker

Ok I've been out and bought a 15w soldering iron with some spare fine tips i've got some solder (led free as thats all maplins stock) some flux and some wire. The only thing I'm missing is a wiring diagram and a steady hand (which a couple of beers will solve) I've had a look on the wiki but can't figure out which point solders to which in relation to the linker and board. Could anybody help and give me a shove in the right direction please. The board I'm gonna try and flash is a DIA001 phat 80 gig spansion.

Many thanks in advance D-P

OE > NOE
GP0/CE > SBCE
WE > NWE
RDY (RY/BY) NW/AIT
GP1 > Reset
3.3V VCC > VCC and BVCC
Tri-state > SBE

LINK - DIA-001

I'd do anything possible to get leaded solder, so much easier to work with. Don't go too hard on the brew either or you'll spend more time fixing mistakes!

Pulled that conversion chart from HERE (not a solid source, but something to go off..)

Proper table HERE

I've been looking at that mate so on the diagram in that link you posted is dq1 on the diagram d1 on the linker and so on? Thanks for the rapid reply.

That's right:

DQ* = Data *
A* = Address * and so on..

Use THIS to be sure.

I made this to print out for doing DIA-001 and DIA-002. It's nice to have on paper, feel free to use (labels are for E3 Linker, refer to board pinout photo for VCC 3.3V point in relation to other points)

ok i'm just gonna get my head around this tonight as the ale is already flowing. On the diagram highlighted in yellow is a point dqz yet their is no mention of it in the pinout table. More or less got my head around the rest. Gonna see if i can tap a mate up for some leaded solder if it's easier to work with as this is my first time since high school and that was some time ago.

Yellow = Control lines e.g. #WE
Green = DQ0 - DQ15 : Data lines
Cyan = A0 - A22 : Address lines

So, I'm not sure where you saw DQZ... Also they're all assigned numbers. If you wanna highlight it with thick red circles, I'll double check.

HERE is the full resolution image if you didn't check that one.

Ya sure it's not DQ2 or something?

Nice work redtree, could be handy for underwurlde's PCB project if we can scale it..

@donkey-punch nudge .... go that way
@Mistawes
@redtree

keep a damp sponge close by to keep the soldering iron tip clean.
put a drop of solder on the silver part of the tip to "tin" the tip this will help the solder melt.
as you have a 15w iron with lead free solder you going to find the earth points on the board will "suck the heat" from the iron. so wait for your iron to get to its hottest flux the gnd point tin the point nice and quick re-flux then hold your wire on the point put the iron on both wire and test point and wait for it to melt (you may need to tap the soildering iron tip with a bit of solder to get it started)
and thats the hard point done
the other points will solder easer

@baileyscream if i weren't a happily married man wi 2 kids and another on the way i would gladly go for a bit of bromance wi ya. but as it happens all of that spiel applies so you gonna have to settle for a like I'm afraid. I've got an old bluetooth board from a knackered console I hoyed in the bin. It has plenty of points on it for me to sacrifice. On a side note will i need to desolder the linker or am I good to add to it.
