I was on 4.31 OFW, I managed to install Rogero 3.7 using e3 flasher but my blu ray drive does not work anymore. I can insert/eject games but they aren't detected by the ps3. QA Flag app freezes at the black screen and I don't hear any beeps. What can I do?

You checked the flex cable of the drive ?

Yes.
When I insert a game disc there's a small disc picture on the top right next to the time that turns, as if the ps3 knows that I have inserted a disc.

I installed multiman and tried to run it, I get the same black screen as the toggle qa app.

Everything worked fine on the version I had before downgrading (4.31 OFW).

I read about re-marrying the blu-ray drive but I don't have any blu-ray movie.

I'm thinking of reinstalling 4.31 OFW and redoing the downgrade process but I read that if I try to install a firmware with syscon check enabled it will brick since I didn't do the qa dehashing.

What should I do? Why would I need to re-marry the blu-ray drive?

@jazzybazz Check the 4 pin cable that goes between the blu ray logic board and the PS3's mainboard. It may not be pushed in properly.

More info first please what exactly have you done / not done

Have you checked your dump if not more fool you send the dump to dumpcheck at hotmail.co.uk for checking

Only if you have a good dump can you recover

E3 Nor Dump Checker V1.0 said that the dump is bad, but I was not able to test it before casting. link
