dump back-up md5
Hi all
Whenever I use my e3 flasher, I don't get any errors and all the text files come up ok (program or backup) So how can it be that each time I backup the dump and compare md5, it's different. Again, no errors, but md5 is always different. How can I get no errors, but different md5s every time? Just seems to bizarre. ANy thoughts? Thanks |

First, use sha1. Second, clip mounting issue. Check that your clip is on secure.

I had originally intended to use this machine as dualboot. But, long story short, I got too frustrated with the clip, and trying to put it all back together without it moving wasn't working for me. I also soldered the E3 Linker, and all the connections were good, but I couldn't get the case back together with all the wires. I didn't want the guts all exposed to the kids using the ps3 a lot... So, I decided just to downgrade it in the end. But, because I wanted it as a dual boot originally, I scratched out the printed board between the 2 points as I was supposed to. Now, I'm only doing downgrade, do I need to reconnect those 2 points together, or can I just leave it? I'm hoping I can just leave it, cos the pad at point A is totally gone. Can't stick any solder to it. Any suggestions here? |
