I have taken apart my psp 3001 and when I checked to see if I fixed the speaker problem the screen had lines in it. About 4 lines Red, black and yellow. Small ones though. I took the screen off cleaned the wires plugged back in no help. I didn't drop it. But I think I might off push hard of the screen getting a screw out. Is the screen broken? If so I might just throw the dang psp away and buy a ps vita. The reason I taken it apart was the freaking speakers would not work. They would come on sometimes then shut off. The psp would say it has headphones plugged in.

No need to bin it, get a new screen off eBay, or a doner PSP, but yeah its the screen bud.

Alright thanks guys. But I don't know what the hell damaged it. It's only the color that acts up. I played my psp for 3 hours last night to see if it was a display glitch but nope. When the color is darker the screen lines go away. So I must of broke something for the color part. I will get a new screen but I might need a new face plate as this one is kind of messed up.

The game I played was lamecraft, its a homebrew and it's legal
I made some cool stuff on it. I made a small city plus a football-stadium

Thanks, I found a screen and it cost 15 dollars. So not that bad.

Very nice, i have buyed my psp 5 days ago, i il try this homebrew but i know i don't have any skills in minecraft im not very good at that game.
