here are my specs, fairly highend, but low graphics as i do not play on pcs. my temps are also very low as of the Skeleton case, so i don't need water. on the other hand it is very loud as of several fans including scythe kaze 3000rpm, but by now i got used to it

i don't know about the other caviar greens, but this one sleeps very fast and has sometimes bad read times, so not recommended to the impatient like me. but nothing beats that pci revodrive so far

and about the cpu and win7, i had to adjust the second level cache in registry as there are problems without

Optical Disk Drive = external Duplidisk copystation
Monitor = 17'' Plasma (Videoseven, very old)

Agreed,but there is nothing we can do about it ,anyway is windows 8 good?

At first I found it strange and hated the Metro UI, but after restoring the classic start menu, the experience was exactly the same as windows 7. Seems better optimized and the system starts much faster. Overall, I'm quite enjoying it
