I think what people are mostly missing with all this gun control stuff is that guns dont kill people,people kill people and that making all these laws and regulations about gun control is useless cause no matter how strict you make them the criminal WILL ALWAYS ACQUIRE a gun in the US easy weather from drug deals threw the border to crooked cops in the department and not because of "The Second Amendment" at all so to take away guns (yours and my only protection from these criminals) from the innocent will only lead to the inevitable (easy rape, easy robbery, easy home invasion, easy kidnapping and easy murder, etc.) with no protection from any of this because your not allowed to have a gun. unfortunately with this country it will never be like other countries to a point that even police wont have to carry because its mostly of our laws/punishment from crimes committed with guns that should be looked at. If there was much stricter/severely punishment for crimes involving guns would make a huge difference.

And for the situation of the kids doing this crap in schools is not the "2nd amendment's" fault nor the entertainment industries (video games, movies etc.) fault hell I grew up in the projects watching violent/slasher films and played the violent games from the beginning NES to PS3 and I never committed any crime aside of speeding (maybe now they will blame need for speed for that crime LOL) but jokes aside it just boils all down to go old fashion parenting skills and school faculty paying attention to stuff that goes on in schools like bullying/harassment because when everyone was looking at these kids that pull the trigger in the schools and deemed them as monsters and video game corrupted kids no one stopped to look and punish the kids that bullied and pushed them to the edge of no return because these kids are popular or in the "in crowed" so no one questions them.

So simply put --- Harsher punishment for crimes with guns involved.
Parents be better involved with there kids and not have the nanny raise them.
and other parents stop letting your kids bully other kids just because your kid is popular.

I think this kind of catastrophes will stop when they finally stop with the guns market on North America, everyone can purchase some gun on some states with not even have some psychological test or something to check that the person who is gonna get a gun his mind is here and not another nutcase.
Call me utopist or anything but having a gun on your own house or indeed your son/daughter knows that you have one gives them some bad example.

Like the only way to *defend* yourself in concrete jungle it's not with words or punches but firearms.

Here on South America is no different but we don't have specific laws or some gun control if you want to have a gun (not bought on black market) you have to do some serious psychological tests and shooting practice.

And about violence on videogame is a metaphorical reflection of society. You don't go work to kill *Big boss* you just do some weekend catharsis on a game.
Like i said on the article if you have some screw loose well, **** happens like that guy that tought he was a FF character and killed his whole family with a sword.

The problem with putting more and more rules and regulations on guns is that NO MATTER WHAT they can still get a gun if not legal then illegal like on the black market or any ware so making it harder for the innocent doesn't stop the corrupted from obtaining what they want and using it on people who no longer are allowed to carry to protect them selves like home invasions and kidnappings like in Mexico the public in general not allowed to bear arms now who runs the country ?? The gangs do and the cartels do cause they know no one can fight back so they can go into anyone's house or kidnap and rape anyone in the middle of the day. And when you said about taking a psych test to get a gun then the guy with the sword should have had a psych test to purchase the sword then whats next are you gonna have to take a psych test before you purchase a game to prove you can handle the contents of the game ? again no matter what the criminally insane can ALWAYS find a gun with or without a test

We just need harsher punishment for our fatal crimes like "eye for an eye tooth for a tooth" instead of only getting like 20 years or so for double homicide or something and or get off for some stupid technicality or if your famous like OJ and get away with murder and that was just with a knife see its just our system thats screwed up.

Agreed to that too 100% is the other reason cause you look at the other countries like Egypt and the like when they protest against there government for a change the government didn't hesitate to shoot them (there own people) down and the people had no way to fight back for a change until many have died.

The thing is that the Americans are one of the most controlled nations around.

It does not take guns and force to control a nation, just well placed 'suggestions' and 'rumours'

As a nation, your government says jump and you ask how high. This has been proven time and time again with how easy it is for your government to incite you to arms for causes which at best are futile, and at worst, serve nobody but the ones who have power already.
