Came across something interesting...

http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/thr...ulator-for-PSP

There are several videos in the provided link showing NullDC running on a PSP but not fully functional. I'm contemplating once we finally understand Cobra (thanks to @oct0xor and other Devs) we will have more emulators on the PS3 that was running on the PSP. Hopefully!

I just caved in and bought a Jtag the other day, should arrive soon. Dreamcast emulation is a possibility on 360 most notably cause the easy architecture to code for and the half a gig of ram, which the PS3 is lacking at 256mb.

Such a shame the PS3 didn't have more ram or it would surely pwn the 360 in the multitasking and large open world games department, looking at you Skyrim.

Here is the latest video of NullDC working on 360.

Pretty impressive to say the least.

I always loved the Dreamcast too. If they would have only included DVD playback I think Sega would still be making consoles today. IT didn't help that EA boycotted the Dreamcast. But every time you play XBOX/360 you're essentially holding a Dreamcast controller. I'm actually building a new gaming PC as we speak. My motherboard went out on my other one. I just ordered an Nvidia mobo, a new tower, and will be running two GeForce 560 ti's in SLi. I love playing old emulators in DirectX 11. Nothing gets done more justice than the 64 and Dreamcast in emulators. They look amazing. I have PC usb adapters for just about every console controller as well.
I like ur style, i am from 1977 and my first console was Atari in 1982 then commadore 64 and then NES etc..

I was born in January of 80. The Atari 2600 was awesome. I had one when I was a kid. I have the Ataroid emulator on my phone and I still play Pitfall on it. I never had a Commodore but I did have a Colecovision. I still have the Box and Rob the Robot to my first Nintendo. I love the smell of a freshly opened Nintendo product. Smells just like 1985 to me

Different path but it may be quicker way to get to a playable n64 emu. @Ada Love Lace will know more than me if the ideas possible.

as for msx i'll take a look at using the emu i used in windos.

EDIT:
@LoboGuara looked quick at FMSX on windos and its a win32 program so yeah needs windos and the buggy win32 support.
There is a version that runs natively on DOS ... it works, but very slow. One thing I have not tried (and that now seems obvious ) was installing the DOS driver for one of the emulated video cards.

Use a windows PC, and try Makaron and or Demul to do Dreamcast emulation and Atomiswave emulation.

@samson ,
I try different path/SFO/eboot/iso.bin.edat and nothing worked. For some test, it was because one of the file was obviously wrong but some other test let me think the executable code was just not meant for the PS3 (even with same game available on PS3 + free type for iso.bin.edat= game load but black screen)

I did not try with crisis core or lumines , 2 games reported to work on Cobra so may be with them it can be more lucky hit. The eboot.pbp can be pack/unpacked in different way, even as similar as PS3 (eboot.bin, param.sfo etc...)

However, the list for game working with COBRA might confirm this problem since not all PSP games were working.

May be with by generating properly iso.bin.edat and fews games, it might be possible to not only mount but make them working (so to stay doing simple things without having patching)

One more thing @GraVoX959 said homebrew were not working on COBRA, and confirm indirectly it s not just mounting and loading it to make it playable.

So i doubt such simple things as i tried give better results than blackscreen or only for fews games...
After all, even we can play PS3 games as MN and the PSP emulator have been updated by Sony.

I hope @oct0xor explain how it work (as he was wondering if such article about dongles might be interesting, i said yes, even more than any software release) but i doubt it just simple path and patch.

For the emulator n64, i tried a little on PSP and it was fine, may be sound problem.

For transfer to PS3 to PSP, you know, there are fews tricks as PP under bubble pkg or attribut on SFO. For minis, i don t know so much what was the problem, but for PS1 classic, you most likely need to have valid keys.bin (but if so, it s work as suppose to be with the fixed release by different users: you can play it on PS3 and later transfer the game into PSP and continue it)
