Hello, I got a PS3 Fat Compatible with E3 Flasher to downgrade OFW 4.25, This is what happends, if i try to update the e3 flasher with 28.10.2011 i can't get the backup files, if i update it to 5.01.2012 i can get the backup files 3 bkppps.30, 31, 32, i rename the bkppps.30 to bkppps.3 so it can restore it, ok, this works at least, when i try to use e3_downgrade.bin i always get Error and Error and error, i look if clip was unsure, and it doesn't any advice to know why im doing wrong? First i try the E3 Flasher Youtube tutorial, im now following the Ultimate fool proof guide @baileyscream to see if i can make it work..

Don't do the restore step. That is a good way to brick. It is not needed. All it is doing is flashing the backup you made back to the PS3. So if your backup is not valid, you brick.

What you need to do is validate your backups, before you try any flashing.
Most likely if you are getting an error while trying to make a backup, with the Samsung 28.10.2011 update.bin. Then your clip is not secure.
Have you validated the backups you made?

So, it suppose to work with the update 28.10.2011 if it dont work with it, so clip isn't secure rite? because i can't make any backup files, if i don't update it to 05.01.2012 when i put that update it makes the backup

The 28.10.2011 update.bin is to use your flasher on multiconsoles. So if you can't make a backup with that update, your clip is not on secure.
I bet you get this error:

10001100 	Failed to initialize PS3 BIOS 	Check pads / clip at PS3 board check may not be properly seated

Or similar.

The backups you did make, did you validate them? And if so, How did you validate them?

And if you want help, you need to answer all the questions I ask. I am not there to see what is happening. The only way I can help you is with more information.

That's Exactly the error i get, that you post, I put cardboard on the clip, alot of it, ill try different material when i try today again, a clean up all of it with Alcohol again, and try again, because i want use the clip in another ps3 as soon i make it work this one, and the backup, i try to validate yesterday to see if it works, but im not used to work with HEX codes so if quite hard for me to follow the guides for validate the dumps Thanks for the answer.
