Hi guys I KNOW loads ask this but I'm really struggling with the e3 flasher I can't get a successful nor dump! Ps3 Is In bits so I can press nor clip while running. I can get something with the the third switch up and the fifth it reads but flow rebuilder says it has errors that way but I can't get anything with just the third switch up?
And yes my ps3 is compatible with e3 flasher it just doesn't seem to read just back up? I'm wondering if soldering is easier ? Even though I never have tried doing this with anything! You seem like a great community and would appreciate any help you can offer!! Thanks |

You need to remove some of the plastic on the clip, this way it fits on the NOR chip without problems, I did that to mine, most of the users have done it as well. There is a small resistor next to the NOR which causes the clip to not fit properly.
here is a picture of what I mean: ![]() And here is a post from @playerkp420 showing how he did it. http://www.ps3hax.net/showpost.php?p...1&postcount=18 When you try to fit the clip on your NOR take a look from the side to see if the nor is Sitting on that small resistor, if it is sand it! by removing some of its plastic, be careful tho you dont want to remove too much. Look from the side to see if it almost sits on the board, there should be a space between the clip and the board something like 0.1mm
