So i have been looking all over to try and figure out how i can play some of the new games on my PS3. I have no idea if it has been downgraded from anything but when i got it, was on a CFW 3.55 i have no idea what one but i installed Kmeaw just so i know whats on it.

So what do i have to do to get MW3 and BO2 and any other new games to work. I have the disk for both these games but will not play MW3 i dont know about BO2 since its in my other system and have no power for it. I get error 80010017 when i try and play MW3. Im currently updating MM to 4.17.03 from 2.06 to see if that has anything to do with it.

i've got both those games working on cfw 3.55 you need to patch the eboots to run on 3.55 firmware just search on google to find them

Or just upgrade to a newer cfw, then you have no issues, check my sig

I was actually looking at doing that. But as I got farther into the thread for 4.30cfw people started saying it was only for if you have downgraded and it would brick your system so then I went and wrote this up but if its safe to do ill end up doing that today. Which cfw would you recommend to use.?

im using REX 4.21 and have no issues with that, never tried rogero's so cant comment on that.
