I bought one from the same seller. Back in July. It was only $34.95 free shipping.

They were out of the 124b, so they gave me a 324b.

Not sure where else to get one, sorry.

It has been awhile since this post but I thought I would share some info.

Looks like Newegg.com has one on sale. It is OEM and some of those that have purchased it said it wasn't Revision B. Then there are some that say they got a rev b model and it does work for XGD3 full discs with Burner Max.

Purchase with your own discretion that it might not be compatible with Burner Max Flash if not rev. b.

I have burned over 100 xdg3 games with this drive because it will let you burn 8.7 native no software needed sony makes the best dvd drives anyway. I want be using my Ihas anymore to many problems. I even burn Memorex perfect with this drive.

As already stated, old thread, but why not use C4E’s BurnerMAX Payload Tool v0.15? no ihas drive needed. works with most drives.

Although funny story about the ihas drive my wife purchased for me about a year ago, or so. I wasn't even in the market for an ihas, i just needed a burner because the one in her laptop broke and my computer was packed away (was in the middle of moving) She went to Staples and picked up a I/O Magic L04DLSS (Lite-on) usb external drive on clearance. A month later i was looking in the device manager for some reason and realized it was an ihas lol.

So let me get this straight with that payload you don't need an ihas or the special verbatim mk003 discs? Do you have a link to which drives have been successfully flashed with that payload? If thats the case I might upgrade my Lt 2.0 (on a 250gig mw2 edition phat console) to LT 3.0 and enjoy xbox 360 games again

YES That is Right,but regardinf the Verbatim discs are recommended if you are going online

The drives don't get flashed, it just injects a payload ( if your drive is compatible ). Works like this.

1 . Insert blank disc ( Verbatim ) Always have been recommended and are the best, quit being a cheap ass.

2. Launch Payload program and select drive.

3. Wait a few and burn with imgburn.
