Hell there are many more places i would choose to live instead of the USA its not even funny, its on the bottom of most peoples lists as a place to live and tbh i'm not even sure i would want to go there on holiday either And pretty much all the europeans i know feel the same, excluding ofc the few minorities that only moved out of their country to find work in the first place, and even then those aren't exactly the kind of workforce you would want, then again america is pretty much full of those

The issue is mental issue. Dont try to blame it on tools. People are too retarded to drive cars. 30K+ deaths a year. Lets ban those? Ive been to arizona and texas. Trust me people behave real well when they know if they try to do something stupid someone near by is packing. ************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
Have you been to mexico? Pretty strict gun control there. Must be nice having 200 people murdered in just one morning in one city. Theres a black market for everything. People are giving more power to gangsters when you take things away from people. Yes, Cartels get some weapons from the US, but majority comes from over seas. You cant inspect each shipping container and boat that arrives. LOL the UN. biggest joke. Have you been in a national disaster? The government sure does make a good job protecting its people ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Hoorah, marry x-mas fellas |

Second: It happens without guns even the same number almost.
Third: Google This "25 Methods for Killing With Your Bare Hands" (Everyone get out the saw and cut your hands off they should be banned?!)
On that note, i own several firearms and I firmly believe that every member in the household should have a psych evaluation before a firearm be brought into a home (lets face it locks cant stop everything). We in the U.S. need more strict regulations on legally obtaining firearms, and a person in any state who has a firearm unlocked in their home should be fined and or receive jail time (same as any endangerment charge). And how in the h*** is gun safety classes not a regulation when buying a firearm? Last edited by Karrade; 12-25-2012 at 09:47 PM. Reason: edit for list. |

All it takes is one man with a dream to start a change.

Oh I never wanted to imply that the tools are to blame, in the end it's people pulling the trigger, BUT, maybe if those willing to pull triggers couldn't get guns as easily as they can things might be different.
Lastly, handguns are not nuclear weapons. Assured mutual destruction does not work as a deterrent, on the contrary; with handguns it's an incentive to make the first move. It's not that these people are well behaved because somebody around them is a dirty Harry impersonator, they're just simply well behaved. Besides, even the biggest coward has a breaking point, and that's usually when they go to school, work, etc, etc with a gun and kill a whole bunch of people unrelated to their problem. All that said, I do agree with you that it's a mental issue, first and foremost, but I see no problem in attacking one problem from multiple angles (trying to better educate people and exercise some gun control) |
