I'm a tad worried that this might be a banwave but so far, say I'm lucky, but I haven't been banned. I play online on a daily basis (MOHW and Killzone 3 - both legit discs), I even played Journey a couple of times, I updated and used Multiman (non-stealth) while logged in on PSN, but at the same time, I made several purchases on the PSN Store. I'm not really sure what caused the bans but I hope everyone is as lucky as we are (so far).

I've been banned; about month back, played Black ops 2 for three days. Had trouble connecting to EA Servers.
Then was locked out of my PSN account (banned)
Ps3 is also banned.
I have other accounts and playstations so I'm not really bothered. I've decided to refrain from online activities, too risky for every one.

So is it like an automatic ban? Cuz I just upgraded to play my purchased RE6 and I only played an hour. Or am I safe cuz it's a disc? Is it the hacked games that get you banned? Cuz I have plenty of discs to play online I can refrain from using hacked games online.

IMHO you should be safe. every one i know of that has been bannned has played black ops 2 on cfw . to be honest , i think the question is who hasnt played black ops 2 ( doesnt matter if you use disc or not ) on there cfw . i for one have not played it online for cfw nor have i tried. but i have tried and played it many times on my OFW im not banned.

The only game I played online was Nascar: The Inside Line.

I did redeem a beta code for Dust though, but never played it. I'm sure this is what got me lol.

The only thing I've been doing is play online with my MM backups
Sony didn't get me yet but it doesn't matter if I get banned anyway
