the only way truly would be to have this tool check for were the End of the file is..
and say it cant put that code in or what not .. should be able to do it with using SCETOOL -i and checking the size then check were the codes asking to be placed if its out of bounds then throw up a Can not place code.. this i think is the simplest way

But as for the CMP Auto tools way there are a bunch of Tuts on the CMP For this mine and Bungs that show you how to use the patterns to get cheats .. the other good thing is that when its a pattern there is a good chance that it will work on other version of the game take
farcry3 the patters work on version 1.00 to 1.02 and on multipal regions. were the Single code only works on that version and that region .

@aldostools have updated PS3 Cheat Editor to 2.4.2.

It now supports tagging a Game ID as ASM.

Simply create a text file in ASM folder.

Example:

.\ASM\BLES12345.txt

The Tag will appear in the Info Column.

Every time I try to select an eboot or apply cheats to one, it says it can't decrypt the eboot, what do I do?

@PyroOnFire I took a glance and infinite ammo is the only code that isn't an ASM code, so the other 4 should work. I'm guessing you messed something up. Also, it's Bioshock 1, it's very old so you could just use PS3CheatsEditor on the first page of this thread to make a package that will work.

By the way I'm using Rogero's 4.30 CFW. That's why I need EBOOT type. Any help?
