was wondering if anyone got the cheat editor to work for 4.30 rogero? tried a few time last release but wasnt working(for me anyways) thanX in advance.

please, is there a guide for bruteforce save data tool?

its quite easy to use ..

1) put your idps (shown in MM system info) into global.config file ,take a savegame and put it inside a (created) SAVEDATA folder on your pc ..
2) start up BF Tool (it will show the savedata you want to work on automaticaly)
3) if the key for your savegame is already in the list (under key dahh ^^) read from point 7)
4) if your save data shows "protected yes" hit "patch sfo (copy protection)"
5) if the key is not in the list hit "bruteforce"
- it will first check the key.elf .. if key is not found you will need the eboot.elf of the game (that the savedata is for) to bruteforce the key ..
- you can get the .elf by decrypting the game`s eboot.bin for example with scetool ..
6) now wait till you bruted the secure file id .. if not sucessfull (dark souls) you can also use flatz secure file id dumper)
7) if you got the key (secure file id) hit
- patch sfo (copy protection) if your save data shows "protected yes", than
- Decrypt pfd, than
- Update pfd, than
- Encrypt pfd
now just copy the updated savegame to the savegame folder on devhdd/Home ... done

for modding a savegame (not just resigning it to your console) you will need to dump the disc_hash_key and add it to the games.config file ...

No, I didn't noticed it. Even I didn't remember that it was in version 1.5.0

Anyway the installer is fixed now

@itskamel try downloading it again... maybe you were downloading it while I was updating the file on the server.

@badhabit the secure file id "0123..FF..3210" for "Dark Souls" is now in the database... you can update it online

that the error i get. when i try to save it. if i try to open it it gets quarantined.
