i wish i knew more...lol , and since i never had experience with a flasher myself i don't know how to handle these problems.

so my guess is that only @baileyscream or @playerkp420 can help.

but some problems are just too difficult to fix from a distance.

@mattg99999

if its turning off with no red light and you have to press the power button to get the red powerlight to come back on then that is usually due to flashing the dump back when its byte reversed.
so in effect its no-light brick due to no readable data being on the nor.

so with that in mind if the nor is damaged then the syscon cannot read the nor so you will get no-light brick
also if you have forced the clip on and have broken any of the tiny rsistors (the black square in the below image is an example) right next to the nor then this may also prevent the nor being read by the syscon resulting in the no-light brick

we need some closeup hi-res pics of the nor

there is nothing anyone can do to advise you without you posting hi-res pics

also when you post your pic(s) give the board revision eg (DYN-001)

there is no point is asking for more help or more advice untill you give us these images

thanks @donkey-punch for finding this image on the wiki

mate I only try to help others so I don't feel like a free loader when asking for help myself. We all get stuck at some point. (no doubt you yourself have needed help at some point or another). Anyway I damaged the nor pins on my spare 80 gig by trying to apply pressure after i had shaved the clip and bent 1 of the pins on the clip in the process causing it to sit skewiff. The wiki jpeg confirmed my trouble as i now have a ylod. Good job this was a spare console. On a side note I now have hundreds of points to practice my soldering. LOL
