Is the ps3 im gonna get downgradable?

Hey guys,

I'm about to buy a 250gb slim.

I think I've read somewhere that all the slim 250gb versions are downgradable along with all the phat ps3's right?

If someone would confirm this for me as I don't want to get stuck with a ps3 that's not downgradable.

Thanks.

surely you asked the person you are buying from for the model number so you can double check and confirm yourself????????????? How do you expect us to answer not knowing the model number??? size of HDD means nothing whatsoever. Come back when you get a model number!!!!

when you find out model number, check against that list
if it cant be downgraded to 3.55 then there is nothing you can do except stay legit

Well, I've just checked that list and it appears that the slim 3000 series doesn't have any 250 gb models right, so I checked the 2000 slim series and it has two 250gb models, both of which are downgradable to 3.50.

So this should be smooth sailing.

are you being serious?? I can put a 250gb HDD in any ps3 phat or slim!!. Please before you buy it ask for a model number. Only trying to help you. hate for you to spend your money and come here asking what you can do with a 3k model.
