PS3 Game on Disc??
Has anyone tried Burning and Running a ps3 game from disc? I seen Deanks app for discboot but not sure if it is compatable with 4.30cfw.
Any I burnt Most Wanted and multiman shows it, but when I boot back to xmb there is no disc icon? I then start from app/home and get psmove warning etc then get kicked to xmb with an error? Any help? |

Why would you waste money on Disks?

Not to mention that he would need a Blu-ray Burner (or perhaps a DVD Burner works?), maybe he has one.
If it were to burn data (info/photos/audio) that matters to keep as a backup, or so, it'd be useful. For this? Seems like a waste, but it's his decision. |

C'mon mate of course it is wasting money! You gonna burn out your bluray laser reading the media (which you could use for other things) You be using electrictickery to write them and all for no apparent reason. Keep your disc and save your laser. Emulating our games and storing on hdd is way better.

Has anyone got this to work on Rebug 4.30 CFW? I tried both the 3.55 and 3.41 pkg, the 3.55 pkg wont install, the 3.41 pkg installs but it errors out when I tried to run the game (Armored Core 4). All my 3.55 patched PSN games still works, so I'm not sure why I can't install the 3.55 pkg.

its not a waste at all. you can burn the game. print a case. have a shelf full of games. not need to tie up a usb port. maybe even put more then one game on a disc, it has a point. discs arent too expensive. and there is the odd game that doesnt boot discless. either way it wont work i dont think. unless maybe you burn to a disc then copy said disc to internal. tried that?
