Hi guys. I bought a 2nd hand PS3 with a 3.55 CFW, and I've been pondering about updating it to a more recent CFW, which I guess the best choice is Rogero 4.30 v2.
Anyway, the thing is: the PS3 came with some installed applications (3.60 Version Spoofer, lv2 Patcher, Rogero Manager, Gaia Manager, Comgenie's Awesome File Manager, blackb0x FTP). Should I delete them all before updating? Or only after? And how about MultiMAN? Should I delete it and reinstall it from scratch after the update, or should I update the firmware and only then update MultiMAN? I already have a USB FAT32 formatted pen, with Rogero CFW in it (//:PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP). And I know I must not have a disc in the PS3. All my games will continue to operate and I won't lose anything with the upgrade, correct? I am scared sh*tless that I might f*ck things up... Anything else I should know? |

![]() So, this is what I should do then: 1. Install toggle QA and run it; 2. Delete all the apps I won't be needing; 3. Update to Rogero; 4. Update MultiMAN. Correct?

Where can I find the toggle_qa.pkg file? All the links I've tried are dead.
![]() And let me see: I install it, I run it, and then I go to the network settings and press the said buttons? And if a menu pops up it means it was correctly installed? Oh and about MultiMAN, can I just install the base CEX version, or do I need the base FULL version? |
