Hi everyone... I'm new in this forum, and I'm liking it very much! So, here's my doubt. When I see tutorials about backing up games, they all use original cd to do the backup. I want to know if it's possible to download a game to PC and copy it to HDD through FTP or pen, and back it up to play without cd.

Can anyone help?

You're talking about piracy and that's not welcome here. But yes, yes you can download games and copy to HDD via FTP or pen. Google.

Yes it is, but even better to have them on an external USB HDD (FAT32 of course)

Thank you very much, but after I copy it, or playing directly from an external HDD(if this is what Wolfie708 meant), I have to back it up or just play it from the HDD, if possible?

Backup means make a copy of the disc, so what you put on the HDD is a backup (just not YOUR backup of a disc you Own lol)

You will have to go find the games for yourself though, and if you make a mess of it be prepared for some grief with the help because you wear an eye-patch and have a parrot on your shoulder

No insult intended mate, but the fact that you are here asking the most basic of basic questions does not really bode well for you if you run into EBOOT and File Size problems etc etc etc
