I think it would have been better just to straight up ask what the boxed console would be worth. The games can easily be priced up separately by looking at ebay listings.

From what I've seen, if you are wanting to sell you'll mostly get really low offers if you don't have a price stated in the first place. Even then it can be a pain to sell.

People always overvaluing these PS3s on fw 3.55 or below. It's ridiculous, nobody actually pays the amount people try and sell them for.

It's all well and good the turds on ebay asking for $500 dollars and getting a winning bidder but how often does that winning bidder actually pay.

...It's that stupid old cliche of people trying to sell the item for what it's worth to THEM, not what the market is prepared to pay.

1st gen PS3, likely YLOD within matter of single digit months, not worth to the average person more than $250 including postage in the US.

In the UK, even less. Likely about £150 with all those games. Without all those games, less than £100.
