your not dual booting your just downgrading.

you dont want the hastle of messing about after downgrading.

right yes just leave it installed.

i would recomend soldering the tristate to sbe for quick un-bricking. if that ever happens.

Why do you want to keep it in? You could get good money for that flasher or better yet downgrade other consoles. For the little extra effort I'd say it is well worth taking it out.

So I'm at the "Connect the controller" part.. I didn't but I pulled the plug, waited a minute just in case, then connected my psp to the right most usb, It says sent response a few codes then done... but it stays on the connect the controller part and doesn't turn off...

1. what firmware is on the psp
2. what model is the ps3
3. did you do power then eject really quickly? if not try again (remember to unplug the power from the mains for each attempt

Downgraded my psp to 5.50 GEN-D (full)
on the bottom it says cech 250a .. it's down-gradable to 3.40
yes I did, I used the ps3jig the last time I modded my ps3 like a year ago or so.. idk why it's not working.. I also have a HTC Magic but I can't find a recover img for it anymore..

i ment what version psp
but if you have used it before then it should work now.
keep trying the power eject or have a word with @playerkp420 as i still havent got a psp to work as a jig. its my one thorn lol

Why didn't you pull the plug?

That is why it didn't work.

There is a reason the guide says to turn off by switch or pull the plug.

EDIT - Maybe I read that wrong and you did pull the plug? Try it again, and don't push power then eject so fast, or push them faster.
You should push it just like reading "power then eject"

It's the 2000 model.. the red GoW one.. but I used it last time to mod my ps3 :S
