Before JB 4.21+ this would of been useful for backups, buying it now would be the equivalent to buying spare parts in a junk yard you have no use for.

I remember that there used to be some talk about BluRay Homebrew Or i saw something about it. But It could be used for Hombrew on Bluray disks If we could find away to Do it.

The way you mention is a little hazy and nobody has confirmed whether or not it will actually be achievable. (creating an image with ps3gen and burning a disc with all the clobber on it). Personally I think cfw far outweighs that kind of carry on. I really feel for those on consoles unable to be downgraded, and would like to see the 3key provide for them, but for those who have cfw this 3key is null and void and probably won't (or shouldn't) reach the market. (just a bunch of khunts trying to squeeze money out of the scene IMO)

its very possible to make a homebrew into disc type back up . but it comes down to would the 3key accept the key which the homebrew is signed with . which i don't think it would accept the 3.55 key nor the 3.61 key "or is it 3.60 its 1 of them " anyway i dont reckon it would accept them signing keys

i dont think its as easy as using ps3gen to convert homebrew to disc version

theres editing the eboot for a start .

This is good for the person who wants to play online with there originals and play there backups offline
If it's like the wasabi or xkey and can't be detected like on the xbox all good then and as for cfw how long till sony update and we lose our chances to play later games or can't sony stop the cfw now that anonymous released them special keys

when u convert some disc games to psn games u hex edit the eboot

eg from dev_bdvd to dev_hdd/game somethink like that " too drunk to be 100% so i guess it would be the other way round from hombrew to back up style
