Can I downgrade from 4.31 CFW to 3.55?

I gave my PS3 to one man to downgrade it and then he said that he upgraded to CFW 4.31. It has multiman and I can play backup games but I want to dowgrade back to 3.55 so I dont know if he did use this toggle. Where can I see which CFW I have?

Download This

Rename the File to: PS3UPDAT.PUP

Put it in USP like this

USB/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

Go to Update and you will be back to 3.55 (Rogero 3.55 V3.7)

Why do you want to go down to 3.55 You have to fix/patch all the latest games and doesn't offer anything more than 4.3

if it has rogero coldboot when you switch it on and shows 4.31 and also has install pkg when you highlight app/home you will be on rogero 4.30 v2.03. please quote me when you reply. But like i asked earlier why do you want to go down to 3.55

I can't open the link with safari so I'm guessing this links to 421to355 pup in which case it wont put you Rogero 3.55 v3.7, it puts you on a hybrid firmware, you then install Rogero 3.55 from there.

yes, then I am on 4.30. I want to downgrade because I'm having troubles installing pkg. For example when I install Blackbox and I want to start it, it shows me an error and the same problem I have with openftp.
