Alright fellas, time to seek help from the pros. I recently (tonight) upgraded my CFW3.55 Kweam --> CFW4.30 Rogero. Followed all the steps to the T and got it loaded fine. Loaded up a fresh version of MultiMan, and here is where the frustration comes.

When I used to use 3.55, some games I could NEVER get working. ie: Infamous 2, LA Noire, Prototype 2. I always got PS3 Error Code 80010017 when trying to load. All the reading I did made me believe it was an eboot issue, but I've never really understood how that all works.

Now that I've loaded CFW4.30, some of these games work, some STILL don't load up, and certain games that worked for me on 3.55, now give me and error on 4.30. Arkham City was the first, didn't check all of my titles.

If ANYONE can shed some light on this or point me in the direction of a Tut that would help, I'd be VERY grateful! Thanks in advance fellas! Always appreciated!

delete all game data and install latest update
or
resign eboot via darkebootresigner-google it

Go to the Game Data utility, and delete the game data for the games that don't work.

They should then prompt you to download and install the latest game update. Or you can download the latest game update, in multiman.

Sorry for the delayed response fellas, but I appreciate you guys helping!

@geeklogik I looked for that resigner and the latest version I can is v1.4 and it says it for patching eboot's for 3.55 CFW so I didn't want to chance it until I asked you guys again.

@playerkp420 I tried doing the game updates via MultiMan and all the games I tried that didn't work say they have the most current update.

Would there be an issue with the fact that all the games on my HD have 3.55 eboot's? Would that effect the way they work on 4.30?

yes because on 4.30 cfw the 3.55 keys are blocked thats why u need to resign them

use this to resign the eboots

option 3 = psn games if the eboot been fixed for 3.55 cfw
option 2 is disc back ups if the eboot been fixed for 3.55 cfw

do 1 eboot at a time so u dont overwrite the eboot u did before

@playerkp420 told you clearly delete all game data first.
