Getting out of update loop with e3 flasher

I had managed to downgrade my OFW 4.31 phat to rogero 4.30 2.03 using e3 flasher and playerkp420's tutorial. Everything was fine for 2 weeks until yesterday when it started crashing and giving all kind of errors (system storage not found, press start+select to restore the firmware, etc..). I pressed start+select, the update got stuck at 99%. I think my HDD is faulty.

I have nor dumps of rogero 4.30 v2.03 (taken with e3 flasher), I was wondering if I could flash them to my ps3's nor to get out of the update loop? Do I have to patch my dumps before uploading them back to my ps3's nor? (I read something about e3 dumps being byte-reversed....)

I also read about Rogero PS3 Nor Auto-Patcher....do I have to apply both the byte-reverse and rogero nor auto patcher? or only one? or none at all?

Anyone can give me more information about what to do exactly?

thank you

I don't think you will need a flasher just use a new HDD and the rogero pup you are on.
