How to hack 4.31
Im a total noob to the PS3 scene. Was good on PSP though. I was wondering how i can hack my PS3 that is on OFW 4.31. Will i be able to install games and maybe even a cheat program kinda like nitepr on the PSP?

You can't
If it came from factory on FW 3.55 or lower you can use hardware to downgrade to 3.55 then use CFW on it, but as it stands you cannot do diddly squat.

I don't need to watch to know its fake, the answer you recieved was spot on, you need hardware if your ps3 is indeed compatible.

you need a hardware flasher fitted to your ps3 to get you onto cfw read the stickies in the Downgrading and Flashing section ----------------------------------------------------------------------- now stop posting and go read up  ************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
wish i hadnt  more blurry out of focus rubbish. i think its just 4.30cfw but it could have been a vid of a banana ........ 50/50 chance of either one
