package files
hey guys i no i am asking a lot of questions today but i got one more,, when i plug my usb flashdrive into my playstation 3 for some reason it doesnt pick up the package files that i have on there ,

Is your flash drive formatted in FAT32?

Are they on the root? Do you have two USB devices attached, there was a bug on Rogero 4.21/30 that may still exist, if so disconnect one of them.

only one usb drive inserted it just not picking up the package file

Just to check... It is a flashdrive and not a USB HDD?
Some USB HDD's have probs with the PS3 if they draw their power from the USB port and not a separate power supply. Simple way to check your drive is working regardless is put a pic or music file on it and see if that's found by your PS3

I PUT ON A MUSIC FILE AND IT PICKED IT UP INSTANTLY ,, STILL NO PACKAGE

what FW are you on? do the packages have the .pkg extension? are they retail pkgs or debug pkgs?
