Almost every time I choose a game to load from within multiMAN it quits out to the xmb as normal but when I go to start the game I notice another game has been loaded instead of the game I chose. Like no I had just loaded up black ops 2 but modern warfare was loaded to the xmb.

Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

P.s. a refresh within multiman doesn't always fix the problem.

I'm on rogero 4.30 and my multiman isn't the newest one but fairly new (week or 2 old)

Why not update and see if that fixes the problem?

When you highlight your selected game does the title of the game show the name of the game its supposed to?

thats a strange fault.
i'd also do what @donglehater suggested
and if that fails then get the latest from the home page here at hax and delete mm from the xmb so you can do a freash install of mm
then update it again
hopefully one of them will work

the only other thing could be that the title id's for the games are messed up or you have put some games in the wrong folders by mistake

All games are fine and 60% of the time MM loads the correct game but it's fery often that a different game is loaded.

I'll try a new version of multiman and I might also update my rogero 4.30 to I higher version I'll tell you how things go

Have you renamed your games?

I know from my own experience that MM will load the wrong covers to games if it cant find the correct cover. It has done this to me on many occasions until I started to put in my own covers that is.

if your not on rogero4.30v2 then dont update as it will brick
you need to downgrade then de-hash then update to 4.30v2

If he is on Rogero 4.30 already then updating to Rogero 4.30.2 should be fine without all the need of downgrading. That is how I updated. I was on E3 4.30 and just trusted what was written up about Rogero 4.30.2 being created to work with any 3.55 firmware including Rogero 4.30 and E3 4.30 and just updated and it worked fine.

I have on my slim around 350 games . Multiman scans my games on start up & when i move to Black ops II it says a different game id. If i was to have mounted the game before MM was finished scanning it would load probably have loaded a different game to. Like i said above when scanning, it shows different game ids under my game covers till done ..

When i let it finish ,it loads the proper game & the ids are back to normal . I do not know if your using new multiman, but try letting it scan & wait before you load a game right away .That is if you are one that has as many games as myself = Takes a little longer to scan ..If you are one to have many game & load a game before MM stops scanning ? That could be why it is loading a different game. Check the game IDs when you start MM while it scans ,look under box covers to see if it is showing different game ids. You need to know some of your game ids to notice this..

If this don't happen to you.? Then it could be something else .You can only see what i speak of if you have {Names & game ids displayed } & when MM is scanning drives, only time it happens.

By the way i only seen this happen with new MultiMAN I figured i mention this being i look at my game ids ,being i have multiple copies of Black ops 1 & II . I also know my game ids by heart . You may be having this happen & not noticing now sure just a heads up ..

I have an e3 so I should be ok brick or not and yes I have a backup I think I'm on v2.0 but there's a higher version with install package files isn't there?

Thanks for the info it's not a huge problem it's just annoying I'll let you all know if a MM update fixes this for me

Just updated MM and everything seems fine now
