ok the solder point in in the middle of a track
if that solder point has now gone then the track is cut
with that track cut the ps3 wont start
it needs repairing

should i take it you havent soldered before?
or you atleast havent soldered to such a small point before?
do you think you able to repair the track?

I did the soldering right but accedentaly pulled the wire and it came off. Its the first that happening.

I have found the track on the other side of the board exactly the opposit. but its really small line and been covered by green paint or cover from the board. can I solder to that line? and I will send a pic soon to have a look. I will send it to your email that I used earlier.
Thanks.

grab another copy of the 3.55 ofw from here
http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=557
and replace the one on the stick
then we can rule out a bad update
