Killer Instinct Trademark Renewal Refused

Microsoft’s application to renew the Killer Instinct trademark has been refused. According to a listing on the United States Patent and Trademark Office last updated on November 29th, the renewal has been refused due to “likelihood of confusion” with another trademark.

Another fighting game franchise I wish Namco could license along with the Marvel. It a shame this game hasn't been released again. I still play it regularly.

That's a shame. I always loved going to the movie theater and challenging people to a game on KI on the arcade console.

Nightmare on Elm Street & Back to the Future were my favourite pinball games. KI Provided endless hours of fun!

While it isn’t explicitly referenced, the Fox trademark is almost certainly for the short-lived Killer Instinct television series that aired on Fox in 2005.

Rareware had the trademark from the 90's , how can Fox use it in 2005 ? We want KI 3D on Xbox Live !
