there will be a board number DIA-001 VER-001 JSD-001 DYN-001 go to the E3 guide under Setting Up The E3 Flasher click the Soldering the E3 Flasher click the right image to get a bigger pic or right click the image and save it to your pc so you can zoom in you need the sbe point |

Bailey,
Thank you for this very helpful guide. I am having an issue though, that im hoping you can give me some guidance. Using this guide I was able to successfully downgrade my CECH-2501A to CFW rogero 3.55. I booted into the xmb with no problems and was even able to install some packages. At this point though, I accidentally unplugged the ps3 while moving it and now when I boot up I'm not getting any video. The data light comes on briefly but then nothing else. The system doesn't shut down or really do anything. Am I bricked at this point? I do have three original dumps that I verified using your guide. I am using the E3 Linker and have checked all of my solder points. Thanks again for this guide and all the hard work all of you guys put into this forum. |

Hey bailey I just thought I'd give you a heads up. On the slim strip down you are almost correct. LOL I didn't take it completely apart but there are 4 torx screws not 3

so if i use the progseek i know up front i have to solder it to the board or use the clips ..with the progseek 1.2 do i need the injectus jtag? i read somewhere the 1.2 does not require it.
i guess im just not 100% sure what i need if i decide to use progseek cause of there beinf different versions available..with the E3 it comes as a kit with nothing else to buy separately... |
