will the cineiva error pop up when i play them.

What CFW are you running?

I have KMEAW 3.55 with rebugs cinavia fix and no errors ever appear for cinavia.

I Rebug 4.30 and 4.21 CFW all have : "FUN FEATURE – Cinavia protection disabled" (I dont think rogero currently contains cinavia fix yet)

If all else fails: you could always use showtime to play your files

if your ps3 is on OFW and your movies contain this protection then probably yeah.

and it's cinavia and not cineiva.

you know i only watch avchd's with dts sound on my OFW ps3, never had the cinavia message.

I got that stupid cinavia message. But my psp don't get it because the psp is CFW. I tried to watch The Hobbit.

I'm pretty sure ofw means non-hacked firmware unless the people changed the means around from what they call a psp's firmware.

showtime is homebrew for ps3 For video's

OFW = official firmware
CFW = custom firmware

Showtime is a media center that comes built into multiman (multiman is a backup manager)

Showtime plays everything I have thrown at it, including HD mkv files.

You will never get a cinavia error running through showtime.

find multiman 04.17.00 base in my sig "MMCM" below

cant put anything like that on my OFW ps3.
Think I would have to downgrade it from 4.21 and wouldn't know were to start.
