Hey guys.

I am one of those that is what can we say? cheap? haha so I want to have my ps3 computer jailbroken so I can backup my games (yes even though I am cheap I buy them)

But there is one problem, my idiot brother updated the computer to 4.31, yes it used to be jailbroken, he did it without even asking.

So I wanted to jailbreak my computer again and found a jb by the ps3jail.com guys or at least I thought it was a jb.

When updating the computer I notice it was just the 4.31 update not the jb.

Am I doing something wrong or am I right ?

And I'm sorry if my grammar is lousy, I am icelandic

There is no software solution for you. You need a hardware flasher to jailbreak now that you are above 3.55. Everything you find on the Internet that says otherwise, is a blatant scam

PS3Jail.com is full of 10 year kiddos that are looking to get money through their surveys. Thats how they pay for their .com domain

If you are on 3.60+, you MUST have a compatable flasher in order to jailbreak your PS3. I recommend downgrading back to 3.55 and updating to Rogero 4.30 because it has Online Access and can only be installed from 3.55

well I live in iceland so that's not possible

Is there any way to do this without buying a stupid e3 flasher, I am getting tired of searching and seeing other people do this but when I do it it doesn't work.

Yes buy progskeet 1.0 or 1.1. If you but a 1.2 you will need to wait for a sister board to fix it
