I Downgraded my console I went through all the steps until QA toggle
Now each time I try to install OFW 3.55 from Recovery menu it says:
"no applicable update data was found. Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.55 or later ...."

I checked the MD5 against that in ps3devwiki page and it match

I placed the file in PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP

So how can I solve this?

What I want to do ultimately is install a MFW 4.3 so is it necessary anyway?

It is better to do the De Hatch before going to CFW 4.3
but it is not necessary if you are going to Rogero CFW 4.30 V2.03. since the LV1 Patch are disabled.
try a different USB and make sure it is formatted FAt32 and try the de Hatch again

Try doing a full format of your external media device to fat32 not quick format.

I used another USB, formatted to FAT32 and made sure qa toggle is ok and deleted the app to make sure it doesn't reset itself

Booted back to recovery still not working ... strange

Try to put the USP in different USP port

Tried full format & tried different USB ports & different USB flash memory
Nothing is working, I am pulling my hair on this one


Edit:
After qa toggle I am now installing OFW 3.55 on Rogero CFW 3.55 v3.7 ... this should work normally right?

If QA toggle installed and you checked via button combo that it worked then yeah it should work sweetly.

No I mean the qa_toggle is ok .... but still OFW 3.55 is not installing
