just FYI, Mathieu "allegedly" hacked the 3.56 OFW but refuses to leak it
supposedly because of Sonys lawsuit against Goehotz.

i am a firm believer that nothing is un-hackable, but nobody is going to make an exploit
because of the huge amount of work by Devs to debug, and you can guarantee if there
were such an exploit it would be done for $$.

i dont expect anyone to bother with a new hack on any PS3.
another point... if any such hack were released to the public it would be all over reputable sites within hours

why would developers should wasting their times to make an exploit on another FW, you should know the next gen console will be out soon, also we already have enough on the old FW be grateful for what we have, get a private key on the new OFW to hack it and release it to everyone for what to piss off Sony? and what does the developers get from that...lawsuit from Sony

If it was possible the true devs like kakarotoks would have exploited and shared extreme hints that it was, but as it is... Kakaroto went back and forth with math and even went to the extreme (and i mean extreme) of bad mouthing math and calling him out as a LIAR, Kakaroto and a team of talented devs spent months trying to work from math decypted bulshyte of hints to execute such exploits and soon discovered he was spouting out from the mouth. It is not possible! ecdsa is secure and if you can prove to me I'm wrong I will humbly apollogise and bow down before you. But I will drop a 12 month time line on you and ask for vice versa.

i still believe anything can be reverse engineered... although it may not pay to go thru the lengths required.
in any case, this debate is pointless since IMO there will never be a work-a-round for newer PS3's

maybe we'll get lucky with the PS4... i mean, Sony is not as smart as they presume to be

they should try to look for the one jailbreak able i guess, if all ps3 can be hacked then there is no one would support the game developers and what will happens next, no supports come from the original copy games...

replace them with the old ones, load ps3, do exploit, load cfw, enjoy

do at your discression, may cause bricks
